iFSP1
iFSP1 is an inhibitor of apoptosis inducing factor mitochondria-associated 2/ferroptosis suppressor protein 1 (AIFM2/FSP1).{50700} It decreases cell viability in wild-type, but not glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) knock-out, Pfa1 and HT1080 cells overexpressing AIFM2/FSP1, an effect that can be blocked by the ferroptosis inhibitor liproxstatin-1 (Item No. 17730). iFSP1 (3 ?M) sensitizes a variety of human cancer cell lines to the ferroptosis inducer (1S,3R)-RSL3 (Item No. 19288).
